I'm so very thankful and honored to be a part of this advocacy trip. I'm also very thankful and honored for sweet friends who offer their love and support as we go about our journey to fundraise for our trip.

"We hope you will consider joining us for a special farm gathering to benefit the work that Sam Steen & Mary Duke are doing in our community. Mary is working hard to advocate for better legislation that will support both home and hospital births. Sam is working to provide opportunities for families to connect to their birth experiences through photography. I am particularly inspired by the work she does for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.
In honor of the hard work that both of these women do for our community we will be hosting a gathering here on October 9th at 5:30 pm. There will be live music and a laid back atmosphere. Kids can run around and play. A simple farm meal will be served. Think bushel baskets of apples, plates piled up with fresh baked bread and butter, delicious soup and plenty of vegetables. We will have hay bales, rocking chairs, benches and quilts ready for you to sit back and relax for an evening on the farm.
We have LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE so please register early! Our last farm dinner SOLD OUT months before the event and we expect these spots to go quickly as well.
A donation of $20 per person will help send Sam and Mary to Washington DC to gain the knowledge they need to be more productive in their advocacy work.
If you'd like to join us at our farm party (food, live music and fun!) then send $20/adult to PayPal.me/mysunshinebirth or visit mysunshinebirth.com/donate for details. Please put a note with your payment "x adults x children farm gathering. "
Thank you to Need More Acres for your support and love!
