About me
Hi, I'm Sam! It's nice to meet you and I'm glad you're here!
I've loved photographs for as long as I can remember. I was an avid hobbyist for years before taking my first photo as a professional photographer a little over 10 years ago. I photographed my first birth in 2012 and I was hooked. I continued to do wedding and family photography until I decided to follow my heart and specialize in birth photography and all things birth, baby and family!
I know this change has made my heart complete and I am exactly where I'm supposed to be.
I can't tell you what an overwhelming honor it is to tell the story of a family from their journey to become a family until the moment they welcome their baby earthside and then to watch them grow as a family. I'm in awe of the strength, beauty, grace, courage, patience, fierceness, teamwork and love that a parents have in preparation for their child.
My passion for birth photography and supporting families through pregnancy and childbirth inspired me to take the next step in my career and become a trained birth doula.and Certified Lactation Counselor. I'm so excited to not only offer birth documentation but also doula and lactation services to families in our community. In addition to those things, I also offer studio and lifestyle, maternity, newborn, milestone and even sibling and family sessions!!
